Stream to watchteevee
watchteevee is a streaming service that uses your Twitch account for sign-in. SRT2GO streams straight to your watchteevee channel over SRT — no relay or OBS in the middle, no stream key to copy. Sign in once and go live.
What you need
- SRT2GO installed on your iPhone or Android phone.
- A Twitch account — watchteevee uses Twitch to sign you in.
- A watchteevee channel (created automatically the first time you sign in).
Step 1 — Choose watchteevee in the app
- Open SRT2GO. You land on the destination chooser.
- Tap watchteevee.
- If you're not signed in yet, the app opens the Twitch sign-in page.
Step 2 — Sign in with Twitch
- Log in with your Twitch credentials in the sign-in window.
- Approve access when Twitch asks.
- Tap Continue — SRT2GO stores the session so you won't have to repeat this each time.
Step 3 — Get your stream endpoint
- In most cases SRT2GO fetches your personal SRT ingest URL automatically once you're signed in — you'll go straight to the stream screen.
-
If you're asked for a URL, type
/endpointin your watchteevee channel chat. The chat bot replies with your personalsrt://URL. - Paste that URL into the field in SRT2GO (or tap Open watchteevee to grab it in the in-app browser), then continue.
Step 4 — Pick a quality profile and go live
- Choose a quality profile. Standard (2.5 Mbps, 30 fps) is the watchteevee-recommended default for good Wi-Fi or solid 4G.
- On a weaker connection, raise the SRT latency buffer (try 1 s or 2 s) to ride out packet loss.
- Grant camera and microphone access when prompted.
- Tap Go Live. The status moves connecting → connected, and the stats panel shows bitrate, round-trip time, and packet loss.
- Your stream is now live on your watchteevee channel.
Troubleshooting
It won't connect / drops straight away.
Increase the SRT latency buffer in the app (1 s or 2 s). A bigger buffer gives the connection more
time to recover lost packets on mobile or long-distance links.
The stream stutters or pixelates.
Switch to a lower quality profile so the bitrate fits your upload speed, and raise the latency buffer.
I'm signed in but it asks for a URL.
Type /endpoint in your watchteevee chat to get your personal SRT URL and paste it in.
You only need to do this once — SRT2GO remembers it.
Do I need OBS?
No. watchteevee streaming is direct from the phone — OBS is only needed for advanced setups like the
Belabox Cloud pipeline or receiving SRT in OBS.
